Why we publish our rates

Because the alternative wastes your time. Most people calling a painter or a waterproofing contractor in Jalandhar get "we will come and see" and then a number that changes once work has started. The published rate card here exists so you can tell in a minute whether we are in your budget, before anyone drives anywhere.

The site visit still matters — it is how we turn a range into one fixed number — but it is free, and you get the measurements and findings whether or not you hire us.

How we are set up

Crews are ours and work under supervision. They arrive with their own machines, extension boards and chemicals rather than borrowing from your house, and they are not subcontracted out to whoever is available that morning.

For painting and waterproofing we supply materials at trade rates with the brand, product and coat count named on your quote. If you would rather buy your own paint, we will give you the litre count per room and quote labour separately.

The things we will turn down

A few jobs we decline, and it is worth saying so plainly:

• Painting wet walls or exteriors in the monsoon. It will fail and you will have paid for it.
• Waterproofing without fixing the drainage. A membrane under permanently standing water is money thrown away.
• Painting over a damp patch with waterproof paint. It traps the moisture, blisters within a season and takes the plaster with it.
• Jobs beyond about 40 km. We would rather decline than do a rushed job.

Turning work down costs us money in the short term. It is also the reason customers call us back, and the reason our quotes do not grow once work starts.

What we are not

We are a service-area business — we come to you, and there is no showroom to visit. That is normal for this trade, and it means the things worth judging us on are the written quote, the crew that turns up and the walkthrough at the end.

We reply to every enquiry the same day, usually within a couple of hours.
